We stayed at the stunning Il Palazzo in the tiny village of Muro Leccese with 14 girls for a long Bachelorette weekend. From the outside the traditional old house looks like the others next to it but when stepping inside you immediately feel that this accommodation has a special soul and a unique interior design. It was just perfect for such a big group of people. There were more than enough bedrooms in the winding house, very comfortable beds, and each of the bathrooms was monumental like Greek bathhouses. The dinning room with the open fireplace was so cozy and just perfect for the early Spring weather and feeling. The entire house inclusive garden and pool was very clean and well-equipped! The owner Priscilla has an amazing taste mixing modern furniture design with vintage and second-hand decoration she collected and placed carefully. She organized to install the decoration within the house we ordered and proposed two phenomenal menus for dinner which two of her sweet staff prepared. She organized to install the decoration within the house we ordered and proposed two phenomenal menus for dinner which two of her sweet staff prepared. The breakfast/brunch was also made for us and they served an amazing fruit salad, a great scrambled egg and a marmalade to die for 😊 On one night we went for dinner to Trattoria Nonna Rosa in Muro Leccese…I have never eaten such a fresh plate full of different seafood specialities – Priscilla made sure the table was reserved for us.

A courtyard/terrass offers a space for relaxed drinks after dinner. You find some restaurants and the village coffee bar in walking distance. Muro Leccese is well situated to explore the region. Priscilla was super attentive, helped with tips to find best restaurants, bars, beaches. We loved our stay and hope to come back some time soon.

We couldn’t have imagined a better location to place so many of our guests during our wedding week in Puglia. The spaces are absolutely stunning and quintessentially Puglian. The wonderful staff took care of all of our needs as if we were staying at a 5 star hotel - delicious breakfasts, dinners, last minute lunches. They even found us a world class babysitter for our new baby. We can’t thank Priscilla and her team enough for hosting us and look forward to returning!

This villa was extraordinary and amazing! It unfolds in so many directions and each space is more beautiful than the next. It’s unlike any other place I’ve ever been. We had a large group and we had so much room to both gather and to be separate when we needed to be. Could not recommend it enough!

Un’oasi di piante e di scorci poetici, pavimenti freschi e camere perfettamente condizionate con bagni spaziosi e accoglienti. La distribuzione degli spazi è curatissima in modo da avere privacy quando uno vuole stare per conto suo. Una casa molto speciale che trasmette l’anima artistica dei proprietari e il gusto per il bello con semplicità anche nei minimi dettagli, senza alcuna ostentazione.In completa sintonia con la casa, lo staff si distingue per una gentilezza genuina e muovendosi silenziosamente da un posto all’altro della casa è sempre attento ad ogni necessità .

What a wonderful place! We spend 4 days with 8 people in the Villa and had a great time. Each person had its own room and the house and garden are big enough to find privacy. The house has a great interior and managed by people with taste. The owner of the villa provided us with lots of good tips and addresses. Beachclubs, private-dining, restaurants, sailing trip etc. Can definately recommend this place for larger groups!

The houses were beyond what we dreamed of for our wedding weekend. We were able to have all our closest loved ones stay with us for a full weekend of celebrations, in the most magical environment. The space allowed us to have plenty of joyful moments together, while allowing everyone to have privacy when they needed, both indoors and outdoors. The decor of the houses is a pure dream; elegant while retaining all the charm of old Puglian farmhouses. A true gem! The host was incredible and helped us to sort out all that we needed for the weekend, in every detail. The property consists of a maze of hidden gems, tastefully decorated throughout, with amazing eye for beauty and detail. The house feels both authentically ancient and hyper contemporary at the same time. The small village of Muro Leccese is a jewel to walk through. We had an outdoor cinema evening and a cooking class at the house, making the whole stay even more special.

We loved our time in Muro Leccese starting each day with breakfast at Cafe Miron and then heading out to our adventures in Gallipoli, Otranto, Baia dei Turchi and Lecce. Our best meal of our trip was prepared by Luigi and his wife right on the beautiful grounds of the house, and we only wish we could have stayed longer to book more of their very reasonable and very extraordinary meals! We love cheese, and it was incredible, but for the first time ever, the grilled vegetables stole the show (green peppers, eggplant and zucchini)! Laltrobaffo restaurant in Otranto is also a must as well as the short hike to Baia dei Turchi. We hope to come back to this gorgeous property in such a friendly village!

We had an amazing stay in Giurdignano. The Villa is stunning and bigger than in the photos - it slept 9 adult friends comfortably and has everything you could possible need. The pool and outside dining area is perfect and again bigger than the photos. Priscilla the owner was very helpful, helping us sort a number of things and quick in responding to all our (many) questions. Luigi the caretaker was lovely and also arranged an amazing private chef for one day and told us about a local party we should go to. It’s a 3 minute walk to both the old town and the nearest supermarket, and a 10 minute drive to Otranto. All in all a perfect stay! 10/10

A grande garden with two lengthy pools, a big kitchen with lovely stone detailing and many comfortable places for sitting both inside and outside. Actually the best asset of this wonderful house is that it gives you the feeling of living both inside and outside at the same time. A place with a beautiful atmosphere that you will carry with you, just like Puglia itself.

It has everything you want for a relaxing stay with all the benefits of being able to walk to shops, bar and some lovely restaurants. The pool, whilst not enormous, is brilliantly designed so that you can have a proper swim and the outside pergola is a wonderful place to sit an eat. Priscilla and Alessandro were very quick to respond to any queries and gave many helpful suggestions. Thoroughly recommended. Thank-you!

The house is magical in every sense, with a style complementing the renovated ancient structure and its secret garden. You cannot but enjoy yourself here. And then you are right in the town with cafes and excellent dining. There are lots of romantic areas in the house and the bedrooms are all beautiful suites. It is a place you will want to return to and live in. The hosts are wonderful and provide a lot of helpful information and suggestions and are available to assist in any way.

La Romantic Villa è davvero risultata perfetta e spaziosa per ospitare un gruppo numeroso come il nostro, ognuno poteva tranquillamente trovare il suo spazio. Grazie anche a Luigi per averci offerto l'aperitivo di benvenuto e per la sua disponibilità . La cucina è il luogo più fantastico, arredata con gusto, molto ampia, con tutto il necessario per poter cucinare, vettovaglie in abbondanza per la nostra "Big Family". Le camere sono ampie, con letti abbastanza comodi, come pure i bagni e docce. L'area esterna con il barbecue è meravigliosa, la piscina per rinfrescarsi dal grande caldo è stata di vitale importanza.
La Romantic Villa è davvero risultata perfetta e spaziosa per ospitare un gruppo numeroso come il nostro, ognuno poteva tranquillamente trovare il suo spazio. Grazie anche a Luigi per averci offerto l'aperitivo di benvenuto e per la sua disponibilità . La cucina è il luogo più fantastico, arredata con gusto, molto ampia, con tutto il necessario per poter cucinare, vettovaglie in abbondanza per la nostra "Big Family". Le camere sono ampie, con letti abbastanza comodi, come pure i bagni e docce. L'area esterna con il barbecue è meravigliosa, la piscina per rinfrescarsi dal grande caldo è stata di vitale importanza.

We rented the masseria last summer to host our families and friends for our wedding in Puglia. We stayed two weeks in both houses and were amazed by their beauty and simple elegance. They're perfectly designed and curated, have and have beautiful furniture throughout. The gardens are much bigger than you think and the overall feeling is one of living away from the world in a magical place surrounded by your friends where stress simply does not exist. The overall capacity is huge for about everything: rooms, kitchen, dining and common areas. We spent two weeks with at one point thirty people and never felt a lack of space. I can't recommend the masseria nor Alessandro enough, our trip would not have been possible without his constant help and support in the months of planning it took us. I look forward to going back, for many, many years to come.

We loved the house - the pool, outdoor pergoda, and thoughtful details to the house, were perfect for our week stay. Luigi, the house manager was amazing. He got us fresh octopus one night so that we could grill it. It was soooo good. The pool is refreshing and lovely. The kitchen is well appointed and the furnishings comfortable. The location of the house was superb. A 3 minute walk to the pizzeria around the corner and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. The beaches of Otranto are only 12 min drive. Just perfect. I would rent this house again! Thank you

All was fine. The villa is beautifull : we like so much the Design inside and the architecture outside. The Region is Amazing. We love the architecture with the White and the pastel coloured squrarred Houses villages. The géographic Position is perfect to discover the salento Region. The Village Giurdignano where the Villa is Situated is ideal : very quiet But near to a nice town Otranto. You have all your need : an artisanal bakery, fish Shop, fruit & vegetables itinerant Shop and a supermarket. The Swimmingpool is a dream. The rooms are very Nice and big enough with all Equipments you need. In the evening you can eat outside on the Terrasse and it’s great.

The location is superb - quaint little village, a world away from August tourist hordes, and yet close enough to everything we wanted to visit during our week in the area. My husband and I stayed as part of a larger group in this gorgeous newly renovated 16th C palazzo in the charming Puglian town of Muro Leccese. It is just off the central town square and hidden away behind closed door is a paradise of walled gardens and tempting pools. The renovation has been done with wonderful taste and comfort – strong water pressure in the showers, effective air conditioning, comfortable beds and even a commercial icemaker! The house was well cleaned and dealing with the owner was a pleasure. There was easy safe parking just opposite the main entrance. We spent days by the pool and evenings outside under the stars. Mid morning we often visited charming Caffe Miron in the nearby Piazza del Popolo for coffee and their special local pastries. My husband and I stayed as part of a larger group in this gorgeous newly renovated 16th C palazzo in the charming Puglian town of Muro Leccese. It is just off the central town square and hidden away behind closed door is a paradise of walled gardens and tempting pools. The renovation has been done with wonderful taste and comfort – strong water pressure in the showers, effective air conditioning, comfortable beds and even a commercial icemaker! The house was well cleaned and dealing with the owner was a pleasure. There was easy safe parking just opposite the main entrance. We spent days by the pool and evenings outside under the stars. The best chocolates and cakes are a short drive away at Maglio in Maglie. I have never tasted anything as delicious as the chocolate covered fruit. Ever. I even brought some back to London to remind us of our wonderful holiday. I can’t begin to list all the wonderful excursions we went on and restaurants we visited but you will be able to choose yourself from the information left for you in the villa. My husband found it the perfect place to cycle. My favourite was hanging out at La Dolce Riva beach club in Otranto. Great people watching, lovely lunch and an easy place to swim in the sea. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed one week at Ferramosca and were totally under the spell … The province of Lecce is known for its baroque monuments and at times it can all become a bit too much … Muro Leccese however is tempered, its delicate baroque is all concentrated on the central square … Already there the spell begins … But then you enter Ferramosca, through a proud steel gateway, and you are overwhelmed by another enchantment … For these blessed moments you will live in a house full of light, joy and delight… Pure poetry also ... It is clear that it has been meant this way by the most charming owners. If you will have to forget about standard bathrooms, you will enjoy the splendid swimming pool, the generous garden and the most convivial outdoors. There is something indefinable about the house. Maybe it is because of the many different levels and shapes, the massiveness of its seemingly rough though so calcareous and soft warm stones … Seemingly contradictory, nature and art rule together in this environment … you just have to surrender.

Cette maison est exceptionnelle, très spacieuse,elle accueille facilement 10 personnes. Très beau couloir de natation Les chambres sont spacieuses. Nous avons adoré utiliser la grande cuisine. Très bien située dans le charmant village de Muro Leccese , la demeure est à proximité de tous les commerces Nous avons passé une semaine idyllique. Notre seul regret , devoir partir.

Alessandro's and Priscilla’s house in Muro Leccese is simply stunning. The property is historic and retains the district feel of the region, but it is finished with tasteful modern details. Our large group was housed comfortably in the height of summer. The pool is spectacular. If you want to experience authentic southern Italy with all conveniences located nearby, this is an excellent choice. The town of Muro Leccese is quaint but has all of the shops you need (salumeria, wine store etc) to provide for a large group. Additionally, our group hired Maria and Valentina as chefs for 5 nights and we were very happy! The food was authentic southern Italian and very delicious. Luigi was a very responsive and helpful contact for the host. We want to go to this property again!
